I want to like Arkham Horror the board game, but I find it to be a very messy, unbalanced jumble of unimpactful decisions, RNG and lack of plot. Arkham Horror LCG is, effectively (and to me), a party-based dungeon crawler RPG with an excellent deck, experience and enemy system, all under a Lovecraftian theme (and not, say, sci-fi or fantasy).

Are there any rules (official or otherwise) that would govern trying to string together multiple games of Arkham Horror into some sort of a campaign structure? The idea would be for the investigators to retain some of their capabilities from game to game, and the game itself would have to ramp up in difficulty in some manner to compensate.
